LIGHTSHOW MAX 500
Time travel with the emperor
27.11.2019 - 29.01.2020 - Imperial Palace Innsbruck
The LIGHTSHOW MAX 500 is an audiovisual 3D light projection/mapping show, one of the most elaborate and spectacular projects for 2019 as the “Year of Maximilian” in celebration of the 500th anniversary of the death of Emperor Maximilian I. The historic inner facades of the Hofburg imperial palace in Innsbruck have been virtually reconstructed using 3D software and transformed into a giant screen of over 1,300 square metres. Aided by seven high-performance projectors as well as audio effects, this is a very special open-air cinema that will amaze visitors with its fantastic images – all visible without 3D glasses.
