Innsbruck’s “New Year’s Eve in the Mountains”

Celebrate New Year’s Eve just like the grownups – as part of Children’s New Year’s Eve in Innsbruck, children can do exactly that. Heaps of fun attractions and play stations will be set up across the entire Old Town. To top it all off there will be a fire show at Marktplatz Square at 5 pm.

Vibrant live music, culinary delights and a colourful show programme over several stages promise to enchant visitors to Innsbruck’s Old Town and inner city. On the stroke of midnight, the town welcomes 2013 with a spectacular firework display, accompanied by the Danube Waltz. Pyrotechnic effects light up the skies not only over the Seegrube Mountain, but across the town centre as well.
