Accompanied by shepherds, angels and sheep, the Christ Child makes his way across Innsbruck in his magnificent carriage. More than 500 children from Innsbruck’s schools provide a joyful atmosphere that gets the whole family in the Christmas spirit. The festive procession goes down Maria-Theresien-Straße, Marktgraben, Herzog-Otto-Straße and Herrengasse and on to the State Theatre (Landestheater), where all join in to sing “Silent Night”. Admission free!
