![]() | Innsbruck's “New Year's Eve in the Mountains” Vibrant live music, culinary delights and a colourful show promise to enchant visitors to Innsbruck's Old Town and inner city. On the stroke of midnight, the town welcomes 2010 with a spectacular firework display, accompanied by the Danube Waltz. Pyrotechnic effects not only light up the skies over the Seegrube, but also those over the Waltherpark. The Inn Bridge becomes the Golden Gate Bridge with life by the magnificent display. Innsbruck New Year's Concert 2010
Innsbruck'S Tyrolean Symphony Orchestra welcomes the New Year with festive, colourful, melodies including Rossini's William Tell Overture, Lehar's Gypsy Love and works by Waltz Kings, johann Strauss and Richard Strauss. The concert will be conducted and presented by Georg Fritzsch, principle conductor, and presents young violinist Roman Patocka as a solist.
